See my AUM Blog site: aumsucks.blogspot.com/
October 2, 2014
Update: The above blog is widely read, this company generates a LOT of traffic for me, 16 look ins just today.
I have recently noted that YELP has no ratings other than the min. 1 star out of 5, on any of the reviews, everyone trashes this firm.
On the other hand the BBB keeps their rating at A+. AUM is a dues paying member of the Better Coverup Bureau. I have complained to them before on this unrealistic rating and supplied information on the actions (covered below) of the City of Panama City Beach and how they dealt with this morally corrupt and evil firm, but of course the BBB ignored my information on this governmenatl action.
The BBB now provides the texts and replies of consumers on their site, so if you go and look at Yelp and the BBB you will see exactly what you have to deal with.
I also note that AUM looks in frequently on my blog site, twice last week, (208.96.245.186 — American Utility Management Lombard, Il) so they know exactly what I say about them. ie: they are simply theives and they can sue me anytime they want for saying it, but be assured that if your complex uses AUM you are being totally screwed by them.

One of the message board members brought to my attention that 'The Columbus Dispatch' is doing an interesting series of articles on billing firms: "Shocking cost investigation: Utility middle men charge renters inflated prices".
There is no mention of AUM in the first of the 3 articles, but you might want to check it out even if they never mention AUM.

I reside at The Trails Apartments in Arlington, TX and it is managed by WinnCompanies who hired AUM to collect utilities payments from residents.
I have gone to management on site, I have contacted WinnCompanies residential hot line, I have received an eviction notice because of non-payment because I have noticed unfair charges throughout the complex that I reside in.
Who can I go to for help with this situation?------------------------------- Admin: This is The Trails Apartments, 4912 Paces Trail, Arlington, TX 76017. Disappointing you did not get a better response from the complex as they have an 83% approval from the Apartment Rating Guide with 26 reviews on the site www.apartmentratings.com/tx/arlington/trails-apartments_817572382876017/. I really don't see any recourse but to move on to another complex that dosen't use AUM.
